Redwood Christian Montessori is a faith-based early childhood and elementary education program dedicated to following Dr. Maria Montessori’s method of independent learning through prepared environments and natural exploration. Just like the redwoods we are named after, our classroom foundation is rooted in building a community where respect and love nurture each unique child. We are committed to providing a place where every student feels safe to be themselves and is supported in learning at their own pace so they can truly thrive.

Our name, Redwood, reflects the heart of who we are. Redwood trees are not meant to grow alone—they thrive when planted in communities. Their strength does not come from deep, solitary roots, but from shallow root systems that stretch outward, intertwine, and connect with the trees around them. These roots support one another, share nutrients, and create a resilient, thriving ecosystem.

In the same way, we believe children grow best in a strong, connected community. At Redwood Christian Montessori, we intentionally cultivate an environment where students support one another, learn from one another, and grow together. We value connection, collaboration, and care—believing that when children feel rooted in a loving and supportive community, they develop the confidence and strength to flourish both within our school and beyond it.
